#Latergram part 1 (FEBRUARY) : Valentine's Day X BF's 22nd ♥

I was pretty much overwhelmed by the month of February so... instead of updating my daily usuals here, I did it on my Instagram!

First up!

VALENTINE'S DAY!♥

Spent post Valentine's with my lover because he is serving his NS right now. Frankly, the actual days aren't important. It's the love and celebrating with your love one that matters (:
Met him after he book out at JEMS to have a simple dinner before we head home to rest!

The next day, we had a whole day to ourselves!

Here's my gifts from him! 

He bought a really adorable officer bear from SAFTI with my name on and a bouquet of 24roses♥

Off to the surprise dinner he prepared!

The rose came as a late surprise that day actually...
He gave it to me at the MRT station...LOL.
Cute/Awkward/Weirdly Adorable... you name it!♥

The surprise dinner is held at La Fondue. 

This restaurant is located at Demsey Hill.

Opening Hours: 10.30am - 2.30pm, 5.30pm - 10.30pm

It's a swiss-themed cuisine restaurant in unique settings designed to emulate a Swiss chalet.

Love the dim twinkling lights inside and romantic ambience.

The staffs are really friendly and offered to help us take pictures.
Lots of pictures I must say...

If there's one thing my BF must order in every restaurant...

It's definitely caesar salad!
His staple favourite!

The scallops are gigantic and juicy!
The beef is da bomb and the marination is really good!

However, I find the price is a tad too pricey tho...
Maybe it's the fancy valentine's day season I don't know.

Chocolate fondue for dessert.

I must say the choice for the dips aren't that fantastic but the chocolate dip itself is really yummy!

DARRENCE's 22nd!

Made a birthday panCAKE for him because having cakes for birthday are too mainstream!
haha!

Attempted to make a rainbow cake but failed badly.. >.<
More like just 3 distinct primary colours...

Anyways, we went to the GRUB for early dinner!

It's located in the middle of Bishan Park and the ambience is really pretty!

Opening hours: Weekdays - 5.30pm - 10.30pm

Weekends and PH - 9am - 4pm, 5.30pm - 10.30pm

Closed on Mon and last Tue of every month.

Do note that this place doesn't offer reservation service so do go there early!

The place was fully seated at about 40minutes after the evening opening hours when we went!

Friendly and spontaneous staffs!
Love how they recommend food items and offered to help take pictures (:

Showing off his birthday present!

The fries is really yummy!
I love the sauce given, it has this sushi roe with mayo in it!
Yums!

Price of food are reasonable and filling!

The churros however, was quite a disappointment.

Still preferred the one I had inside USS.
Both of us were really full by then so we didn't really enjoyed this dessert. 

It's too much for dessert after a meal. Would suggest to have it alone as dessert as it is really filling!

Went to take a stroll at the park after the filling meal!♥

Didn't take much photo but we had our first premium movie together!

Watched POMPEII.
We watched it at NEX, Shaw Theatre Premiere is really good!
Totally worth the money spent and surprisingly way cheaper than 

competitive brands like Cathay and GV.
