Salon De Choix: BANG BANG BANGS!

Last month, I'm back at Salon De Choix for my monthly mane maintenance...

After a loooooong contemplation that lasted for a few months, I finally made up my mind to go back to bangs again!

Why the long contemplation?

Well, to start with...I remembered how determine I was to grow out my very own long fringe and how I wanted to flip them back & forth. Have no bad fringe days when I sleep on the wrong side of the bed, no baby hair sticking out everywhere like static etc.. *the list can go on forever~*

But I came to a point where... I wanna have a huge change.

Changing my hair colour is not gonna make the cut anymore...

I dont wanna chop my hair any shorter as well and so, BANGS it is!

Plus, nobody can deny that short fringe makes you look younger too!

Which is a good thing right?! 

DEFINITELY!

So here's my hair before the change!

#12 Salon De Choix: P I N K ♥

It's time for my monthly hair pampering session again!

Before getting started, 

let me take a #SELFIE with my friend, Sabrina who joined and accompanied me for this month's session! If you're curious, she's getting her mane rebonded (: 

To start with... let me show you my hair conditions.

Here's my ugly hair roots after almost 2 full months!

My fringe was also getting too long for me to handle!
So it's definitely a trim!
What amaze me was my highlighted tresses!
It's amazing how my purple-ish pink highlights still can maintain it's colours after braving soo much damage in the sun and pool while I was having at Montigo last month!
I was literally soaking in the pool! Haha!!

Because I'm still not bored of my pink tresses... Chester decided to re-colour my highlights pink and to add a little bit of spark, I'm gonna have ombre fringe in red!
Was really nervous and excited about how I'm gonna look at the end, especially my fringe!
Read on to find out how I look finally!

Here's a glimpse of the base...
I look bald and fugly like that...):  Meh.

Anyways... after settling the hair colour and have a good rinse, 

it's time for a revitalising hair treatment!
This time... I'll be indulging in the exclusive MOROCCANOIL TREATMENT
There's a few treatments to choose from the range... for me, I'm going for the REPAIR treatment to fortify and restructure my dry and damage hair! 

This is the bowl of Restorative hair mask that's gonna do it magic on my mane...

Here's a pictorial instructions on how you should apply your hair mask!

Hold a portion of your tresses and apply an adequate amount of mask onto it.

Spread the mask a little through that portion and with your fingers, rub the mask into your hair (:

After it's all applied on...leave it for 15-20minutes.

As for me in the salon...
It's time for a good steam~

After rinsing the mask off and dryin my hair...
This is how it looks!
The high performance argan oil infuses protein back into my weakened hair shaft that had gone through many chemical treatments and made my mane stronger and more beautiful than before!

My black hair roots were also nicely touched up

Also, can you see the little highlights of my ombre red fringe??

After a little styling...

The curls enhances the peek-a-boo effect, 

making my pink tresses even more beautiful than they already are!

If you look close enough, 

you can actually tell that my ombre red fringe is connected to my pink streaks!

Hello readers!
I'm going to start this post with a 'pretty' photo of myself.....

Haha... I was just showing you my little achievement I had for keeping fringe 

this long before I decided to chop it off this time!
It's a brave decision to start with because I blurted out this idea only after mesmerising at 

Taylor Swift's fringe!  

So after much considerations and a brief consultation with Chester,

he decided to go with my bold idea.

See my pink streaks that maintained its brightness and colour for the past 2-3months!
Love how the colour intensity maintained so well even after not touching up for soo long!
Totally worth your money!
It's also amazing how my hair still maintained healthy and smooth even after attempting 

sooooooooo many crazy colours.

This time round, Chester is going for another creative colour technique just on my highlighted streaks!
It's called the Dip-Dye Highlight!

Basically, it's similar to the usual dip-dye technique but instead of doing it on my whole head, 

it's gonna be just on my highlighted streaks so it doesn't look too loud yet enough to hold anyone's attention!

I'm going with PURPLE because I wanna be a asian barbie princess with pretty bangs!^^
Plus, purple always goes well with pink!
Teehee!! Just wait & see...

Now, you might be thinking that I'm gonna colour the rest of my head pastel purple but...NO.
It's reddish brown! Still going with the neutral tones but lighter than before.

I like how Salon De Choix make the effort to make sure that your hair has the best intensity colour 

and ideal evenness throughout the whole head! 

First, the hair-dye was spread evenly across my head.

Later, the roots were touched-up to get even tresses throughout the whole head.
Black healthy roots can actually absorb new hair colour faster than the longer and older tresses that has gone through a few rounds of chemical process before. That's is why it was applied later to my roots!

Adding on to the excellent services, they will also protect your ears with plastic ear covers to prevent hair dyes from sticking to your ears! (:

After the hair colour have set in, it's time for a wash and TREATMENT!

I'm doing the same treatment as the one I did last month!

After the hair pampering session,

I went to meet my excited girlfriends for dinner at Watami Casual Dining Restaurant!

I love their Watami Salad there! One of the best I've tried!

This avocado and salmon sushi will be one choices you can make when you eat at Watami!
